In addition to being the capital city of Belgium, Brussels is also the de
facto capital of Europe. Visitors to the Belgian city can
visit the European Parliament (Parliament Europeen) and enjoy its modern
architecture. The EU Parliament can be reached by public transit from
central Brussels.
